Significant volumes of environmental water have been delivered down the Goulburn River in Victoria in the past 3 years. Initially based on expert panel environmental flow recommendations, releases are now being changed in response to observations of the actual impacts on the environment of the flows delivered. Examples are presented on changes in management of flow targetting Golden Perch breeding and bank erosion objectives.
